The role of cooling towers
The waste heat generated in industrial production or refrigeration process is generally conducted with cooling water. Absorb a certain amount of water from natural water bodies such as rivers, lakes, and seas as cooling water, and the cooling process equipment absorbs waste heat to increase the water temperature, and then discharges it into rivers, rivers, lakes, and seas. This cooling method is called once-through cooling. When the once-through cooling condition is not available, a cooling tower is required for cooling.
The role of the cooling tower is equivalent to the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit of the ordinary household air conditioner, which is a device used for heat dissipation.
For the incoming water of water-cooled central air conditioner, the condensing side relies on the water in the water pump circulation pipe to take away the heat of the refrigerant in the condenser. After the water takes away the heat in the condenser, it circulates into the cooling tower under the action of the water pump. Through the flow of water in the cooling tower, the heat is transferred to the air around the cooling tower, and then enters the central air conditioning condenser again to absorb the heat.
The cooling tower of the water-cooled central air-conditioning system is equivalent to the condenser on the outdoor unit of the ordinary household air conditioner, and the water pump is equivalent to the fan motor on the outdoor unit of the ordinary household air conditioner, but the heat exchange is changed from a primary heat exchange to a secondary heat exchange.
Because the water-cooled central air-conditioning cooling water system is an open system, the water quality can easily become very poor. It is necessary to regularly clean the pipes and replace the cooling water regularly.
Influence of water temperature change of cooling tower on refrigeration unit
For mechanical cooling towers, the higher the fan speed is, the lower the temperature of the cooling water will be, and the more power the cooling tower consumes; but for the host, the lower the cooling water temperature, the less power the host consumes.Conversely, the lower the speed of the cooling tower, the higher the temperature of the cooling water, so that the cooling tower consumes less electricity. But for the host, due to the increase in the temperature of the water entering the condenser, the corresponding power consumption of the host will increase.
